What decided it

The pitched roof form sloping away from the shared boundary and the translucent conservatory roof would allow sufficient daylight to enter despite afternoon sunlight reduction, and the proposal accords with the 45-degree rule test, resulting in no unacceptable impact on neighbouring living conditions.
