The rear dormer with Juliet balcony, by virtue of its height, depth, bulk and the prominent position of the balcony, unduly dominates the rear roof slope and appears incongruous and imposing in its surroundings, thereby harming the character and appearance of the area contrary to development plan policies and the NPPF.
