What decided it

Building A's proximity to ancient woodland within the 15-metre buffer zone recommended by Natural England and Forestry Commission standing advice, combined with absence of arboricultural impact assessment and evidence of tree protection during construction, rendered its position unacceptable and in conflict with development plan policies protecting biodiversity habitats.
