The siting of the dwelling significantly further back from the street frontage than neighbouring properties would create a striking and incongruous incursion into the countryside that would distort the compact nucleated form of Kingham village and cause harm to the Cotswolds National Landscape and the setting of the Kingham Conservation Area that would not be outweighed by public benefits.
