What decided it

The specific location of the cycle storage shed in front of the dwelling at the head of the cul-de-sac, combined with the proposed materials (large timber building with white roller shutter door), would result in poor design that detracts from the character and appearance of the area, and less intrusive locations within the garden were likely achievable.
