The proposed extension, despite introducing a symmetrical design with hipped roofs, would result in a high quality design sympathetic to the surrounding area and would not cause unacceptable harm to character and appearance, particularly given the existing variation in dwelling designs and the maintenance of the open verdant character of the streetscene.
