What decided it
The repositioning of the dwelling to the east in both proposals would erode the remaining rural character of the appeal site and create an estate-type development appearance, contrary to development plan policies and the Framework's design aims.
The limited positive weight attributable to renewable energy measures and biodiversity gains was insufficient to outweigh the harm caused by eroding the remaining rural character of the appeal site through the proposed repositioning and design changes.
