The proposed dropped kerb would be positioned less than 10 metres from the junction with Bushey Mill Lane, requiring vehicles to reverse onto Northfield Road in an area with significant pedestrian and cyclist activity, thereby significantly compromising highway safety contrary to the Highway Authority's policy and NPPF paragraph 115.
