What decided it

The proposed extension would extend beyond a wall forming a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse and would be more than half the width of the original dwellinghouse, exceeding the limitations set out at Paragraph A.1(j)(iii) of the GPDO and therefore does not constitute permitted development.
