  • The effect of the proposed developments on the living conditions of surrounding occupiers, with particular reference to outlook, daylight and sunlight

What decided it

For Appeal A, the benefits of housing delivery, affordable housing prospects and economic/highway contributions were not significantly and demonstrably outweighed by the adverse impacts (moderate harm to living conditions); for Appeal B, significant harm to character and appearance and significant harm to living conditions significantly and demonstrably outweighed the benefits.
