What decided it
The great weight given to the conservation of the three designated heritage assets and the harm caused by the loss of the agricultural character of the site outweighed the benefits of housing delivery in the context of an unmet 5-year housing land supply.
The benefits of 3 dwellings towards housing supply, biodiversity enhancements, energy efficiency and removal of asbestos were outweighed by the great weight to be given to conservation of the designated heritage assets and the less than substantial harm identified to their significance and the conservation area character.
