What decided it

The first floor rear extension, when viewed in conjunction with the ground floor extension and dormer, creates a visually jarring mismatch of roof styles and results in unacceptable cumulative harm to the character and appearance of the building and area, and the ground floor extension's height, length and proximity create an overbearing and oppressive feature that dominates the outlook and adversely affects light to the neighbouring property at No 9.
