The brick pillars and iron railings, as a combination, create a visually intrusive and inappropriate form of development that is entirely alien and unsympathetic to the rural character of the surrounding area, contrary to Policies DS5, D1, D2, D3, NE5 and NE3 of the Milton Keynes Council Plan.
