Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- The effect of the proposed development on the character and appearance of the area
What decided it
The proposed garage, despite being larger than the existing shed, would have modest height, scale and mass appearing subservient to the host building, would retain much of the front garden and parking area, and would not appear as an alien addition given that front garages are an existing feature in the area.
