What decided it

The significant harm to the living conditions of occupiers of the existing ground floor flat at No 29 and the neighbouring house No 27 in terms of reduction in daylight, sunlight and overbearing effect on outlook outweighs the limited housing benefits of the small-scale scheme.

The limited benefits of contributing towards housing land supply in a sustainable location and sustaining local services do not outweigh the significant harm to living conditions of existing and future occupiers; the balance tips against the proposal.
