The proposal would adversely affect the integrity of the New Forest Designated Sites and no adequate mitigation could be secured, conflicting with Core Strategy Policy CS32 which is consistent with the Framework and Habitat Regulations, and paragraph 11di) of the Framework provides a clear reason to dismiss the appeal.
The limited socio-economic benefits of delivering a single dwelling and aiding community facility operations were outweighed by the significant weight afforded to the protection of internationally important habitat sites and the clear reason provided by the Framework to dismiss the appeal.
