What decided it

The proposed external alterations to paint the building brown, install a green roof and add trellis with evergreen planting would make the garages visually recessive and ancillary in appearance, combined with historic precedent for an ancillary building on the site and the building's low visibility from public vantage points, meant the development would not harm the setting of the listed buildings or the character and appearance of the area.
