What decided it

The flat roofed design of the extension combined with the existing close boarded fence along the shared boundary meant that no demonstrable loss of outlook, daylight or sunlight would occur to the neighbouring property, and the imposition of a condition preventing windows on the north-eastern flank would protect privacy.
