- The main issue is the effect of the proposed development on the setting of the Grade II* listed Lanyon Farmhouse, the Grade II listed Barns approximately 5 metres north west of Lanyon Farmhouse and the Grade II listed Cartshed approximately 10 metres south east of Lanyon Farmhouse.

The very significant weight attached to the renewable energy generation benefits and the urgent local and national need for solar capacity outweighed the less than substantial heritage harm identified.
