What decided it
The less than substantial harm to the heritage significance of the Ford Conservation Area, caused by further built development eroding the open and spacious northern boundary of the conservation area, was not outweighed by the public benefits of delivering one additional dwelling in a district with a housing land supply shortfall.
The considerable weight attached to the housing delivery benefit in the context of a 3.74-year supply shortfall did not outweigh the less than substantial harm to the heritage significance of the Ford Conservation Area caused by erosion of its open and spacious northern boundary.
