What decided it

The proposal would harm the landscape and scenic beauty of the Dorset National Landscape through intensified use and activity, which provides a strong reason for refusal under Framework paragraph 11 d) i footnote 7, and the site is not a suitable location under the development plan's spatial strategy.

The adverse impacts of conflict with the local development strategy and significant harm to the Dorset National Landscape, to which great weight must be given, significantly outweigh the limited economic benefits of the small-scale proposal.
