What decided it

The above-ground, lightweight, removable construction of the swimming pool with no excavation or foundation works, combined with the established access path providing physical separation from the woodland edge, meant the development posed no credible risk to the protected ancient woodland trees and caused no material harm to their health, stability, longevity or amenity value.
