What decided it

The proposed dwelling would not be safe over its planned lifetime due to coastal erosion risk and would be in an inappropriate location contrary to Policy DM6 and the NPPF.

The benefits of an additional dwelling in an accessible location and potential biodiversity gains were significantly and demonstrably outweighed by the unacceptable risk of coastal erosion to the proposed dwelling over its lifetime.
