What decided it

The location would undermine the Council's plan-led approach to housing delivery and would not be accessible by a range of transport modes, resulting in dependency on private vehicles, which attracts significant weight and outweighs the modest benefits of one additional dwelling.

The modest weight given to housing supply and small-scale economic benefit during construction was outweighed by the significant weight given to conflict with the development plan and the lack of accessibility by a range of transport modes.
