What decided it
The substantial public benefits of providing enhanced 4G and new 5G telecommunications network coverage to an underserved area outweighed the less than substantial harm to the setting of the conservation areas.
The reasonably minor and localised harm to the setting of the conservation areas and visual impact to the immediate area, attributed great weight, was outweighed by the substantial public benefits of enhanced telecommunications coverage enabling social and economic benefits to local residents, businesses and travellers.
