What decided it

The loss of an off-street parking space would place additional parking pressure on surrounding highways that are unsuitable by design to absorb additional parking, conflicting with Policy T2 and parking guidance.

The benefits to the appellant of having a roller door (wind protection, security, odour control) were not outweighed by the problems arising from the diminution of available parking spaces at the property and the wider public interest in maintaining adequate parking provision.
