Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- The effect of the development on highway safety
What decided it
The slow speeds of traffic at the junction due to traffic light control and the presence of similar accesses at neighbouring properties meant that vehicles entering and exiting the proposed parking space would not meet high-speed traffic, and therefore the development would not result in harm to highway safety.
