The close proximity of the site to Ringshall and the availability of multiple sustainable transport modes (walking via field-edge footpath, cycling, and bus service) meant the sustainability concerns did not significantly and demonstrably outweigh the benefits of the development.

The relative lack of readily available sustainable modes of transport was not sufficient to tilt the balance against the grant of planning permission, having regard to the proximity to Ringshall and the available sustainable transport options
