What decided it

The siting of the dwelling well back on the site together with the substantial boundary wall would limit its visual impact, and the corrugated metal material, although not prevalent, can be found elsewhere in the Conservation Area and would add to the variety of built forms without detracting from the appearance of Gravel Lane.
