What decided it

The combination of the 1.8m high privacy screens at either end and the obscure glazed balustrade across the terrace frontage would provide sufficient mitigation to prevent unacceptable overlooking to neighbouring rear gardens, particularly given the existing context of mutual overlooking in the area.
