What decided it

The permanent incursion of built development into the Chickerell Wildlife Corridor would compromise its functionality as a connecting corridor for species movement, and the development would appear as an urbanising incursion detrimental to the rural character of the area, with these harms significantly and demonstrably outweighing the modest benefits of three additional dwellings.
