The proposed changes to the restoration scheme for the Five Ways Fruit Farm land parcel would create an unacceptable urbanising effect through intensive horticultural production and built structures (polytunnels and solar panels) that would unacceptably interrupt the open character intended by the approved Concept Restoration Scheme and fragment the landscape contrary to the Landscape Character Assessment strategy, whereas the Wallace Lagoon proposals would assimilate with surrounding horticultural uses and warrant approval.
