Main issues, as the Inspector framed them

  • the effects of the development on highway safety and the character and appearance of the area

What decided it

The development poses a significant risk to highway safety due to the parking area being materially undersized and incapable of accommodating vehicles without encroachment onto the highway, and it significantly harms the character and appearance of the area through the removal of the boundary wall which disrupts the uniformity of the terrace frontage.
