What decided it

The proposal conflicts with the development plan taken as a whole, being located outside the defined development limit in an unsustainable location and causing harm to the character and appearance of the Isle of Axholme Area of Special Historic Landscape Interest.

The adverse impacts of the development would significantly and demonstrably outweigh the limited benefits of three dwellings when considered against the Framework as a whole, even if the Council lacked a five-year housing land supply.
