The proposed windows, through sensitive design replicating the style and proportions of the original sliding sash windows with horn detailing and grained finish, would preserve the key characteristics of the conservation area (stonework, architectural ornament, and repeated pattern of bays and vertical openings) that contribute most to its significance.
