The proposed roof extension would cause unacceptable harm to the character, appearance and heritage significance of the conservation area by introducing an incongruous, unduly prominent and dominant built form that disrupts the uniformity of the unaltered Edwardian dwellings, with no public benefits to outweigh this harm.
