What decided it

The development met NPPF155 criteria for residential development in the Green Belt, particularly the demonstrable unmet need for self-build housing plots, and any landscape harm could be adequately mitigated by conditions.

The benefits of providing accommodation for a self-build project and meeting demonstrable unmet need for self-build plots outweighed any limited harm to landscape character from the access, with conditions providing a proportionate response to make the development acceptable.
