For Appeal A, the benefits of self-build housing delivery, sustainable location and economic benefits outweighed the limited weight given to conflict with the development plan's locational policies and the full weight given to harm to character, appearance and trees; for Appeal B, the same considerations meant the harms significantly and demonstrably outweighed the benefits.
