What decided it
The substantial harm to the Green Wedge and character and appearance of the area, combined with the failure to provide an appropriate mix of dwelling sizes, significantly and demonstrably outweighed the modest housing supply benefit in circumstances where paragraph 11(d) of the Framework was engaged.
The modest housing benefit of 13 dwellings and limited economic and ecological benefits were significantly and demonstrably outweighed by the substantial harm to the Green Wedge and character and appearance of the area and the failure to achieve a satisfactory mix of dwellings, resulting in dismissal despite the Council's inability to demonstrate a five-year housing land supply.
