Main issues, as the Inspector framed them
- Whether sufficient parking would be available for the proposed development, and the effect on highway safety.
What decided it
The Inspector concluded that sufficient and safe parking provision would be made, with any shortfall able to be safely accommodated on-street, so there would be no harm to highway safety.
The benefits of housing delivery, brownfield reuse, economic and employment benefits, pedestrian improvements and biodiversity net gain attracted significant weight, and with no material considerations found against the proposal, the planning balance was firmly in favour of the scheme.
