What decided it
The securing of a contribution towards the spine road through the planning obligation ensures that when the wider SD3 allocation is complete, the double mini-roundabout will operate within capacity, thereby avoiding severe residual impacts on the local road network.
The proposal accords with the development plan as a whole, particularly the strategic allocation in Policy H SP2a, and no material considerations indicate otherwise; the lack of a five-year housing land supply adds further support for granting permission.
