What decided it

The visual intrusiveness of the 15m monopole in the context of single-storey properties, combined with its harmful effect on the setting of Grade II Listed Buildings and the outlook of nearby residents, outweighed the benefits of telecommunications infrastructure provision.

The benefits of 5G network rollout and telecommunications infrastructure were outweighed by the significant harm to the character and appearance of the area, the setting of nearby Grade II Listed Buildings, and the living conditions of surrounding residents.
