What decided it

The wall's design features, including wrought-iron work, styled pillars, and cream rendering, combined with the necessity to replace the previous fence and the existence of comparable high boundary treatments at other corner plots in the locality, meant the wall would not be inappropriate or cause harm to character and appearance.
