What decided it

The proposed front extension would fail to respond to the character and appearance of the host dwelling and the wider street scene by introducing a substantially deeper gable projection with a flush ground floor elevation that projects beyond the established building line, combined with incongruous side glazing and entrance gates that would detract from the verdant and spacious characteristics of the area.
