The proposed additional storey would make the building appear considerably taller than neighbouring properties and create an unduly prominent and incongruous addition that would harmfully contrast with adjacent roof heights and fail to comply with the prior approval requirements for external appearance under paragraph AA.2 (1)(e) of the GPDO.
