What decided it
The proposal would have a harmful effect on biodiversity due to inadequate ecological assessment of bat roosting potential in trees proposed for removal, which conflicts with Policy 26 of the Local Plan and Policy G6 of the London Plan and cannot be outweighed by the moderate benefits to housing supply.
The moderate benefits of housing delivery on previously developed land and economic benefits were significantly and demonstrably outweighed by the significant harm to biodiversity arising from inadequate ecological assessment and the failure to demonstrate that impacts on protected species could be properly managed.
